<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous secondary battery for preventing the generation of gas during high temperature storage while maintaining battery performance and for preventing the degradation of battery capacity after high temperature storage. <P>SOLUTION: In the nonaqueous secondary battery wherein a positive electrode and a negative electrode are formed via electrolyte, a positive electrode active material in the positive electrode is coated with a polymer represented by formula I where Y is hydrogen, alkali metal or alkaline earth metal, Z<SB>1</SB>is a bivalent group having a substituted or unsubstituted phenylene group and/or an oxyphenylene group, m and n show the substitution number of a SO<SB>3</SB>Y group, m+n is 1-8, and x<SB>1</SB>/(x<SB>1</SB>+y<SB>1</SB>) is ≥0.001 and ≤1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
