<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manipulation direction judgment device for suppressing erroneous judgment in judging a manipulation direction, based on a moving start point and moving end point of a pointer, and also to provide a remote manipulation system, a manipulation direction judgment method, and a program. <P>SOLUTION: The manipulation direction judgment device includes: a touch panel 101b for detecting the movement start point M0 and movement end point M1 of a pointer P moving on a display panel 101a; an angle area setting unit for setting a first angle area Ja made of two or more primary areas A1-A4 to each of which a different movement direction is assigned and boundary areas A5-A8 being the boundaries of the primary areas; an angle area specifying unit for specifying an area where the angle R of a vector connecting the movement start point to the movement end point is positioned in the first angle area; and a manipulation direction judgement unit for, only when the angle of the vector is positioned in the primary area, judging the movement direction assigned to the primary area in which the angle of the vector is positioned as the manipulation direction by using the first angle area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
