PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a medium printer capable of preventing skewing of a printing medium at the time of carrying in and out. SOLUTION: The medium printer 1 includes: a printing part 23 that performs printing processing on a bankbook 12; a magnetic head 31 that performs reading/writing of magnetic data recorded in a magnetic recording part 16 possessed by the bankbook 12; a pair of driving roller 21a and pinch roller 21b that are arranged oppositely so as to transport the bankbook 12 while held between them; a shaft 34 to which the driving roller 21a is fixed; and a magnetic head holding roller 32 that is fixed integrally to the shaft 34 and arranged opposite to the magnetic head 31. With the magnetic head 31 and the magnetic recording part 16 of the bankbook 12 closely stuck to each other, the medium printer reads or writes the magnetic data recorded in the magnetic recording part 16 included in the bankbook 12 while conveying the bankbook 12.
