摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a 2,3,5-trisubstituted tetrahydropyran derivative (6) which is an intermediate highly selectively producible of a 2,5-disubstituted tetrahydropyran derivative which is a liquid crystal composition, in a single process, in a high yield, and at a low cost; and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The 2,3,5-trisubstituted tetrahydropyran derivative represented by formula (6) can be produced from an allyl ether derivative (in the formula, R<SP>1</SP>represents a 1-10C alkyl group that may be substituted with a halogen atom or a 1-4C alkoxy group, a 1-10C alkyl group, and a 1-10C haloalkyl group, or the like; R<SP>3</SP>represents a 1-10C alkyl group that may be substituted with a halogen atom or a 1-4C alkoxy group, a 3-8C cycloalkyl group that may be substituted with a 1-10C alkyl group, a 1-10C haloalkyl group, a 2-10C alkenyl group or a halogen atom, or the like; m represents an integer of 1 to 4; and X represents a halogen atom, a hydroxy group, a 1-6C acyloxy group that may be substituted with a halogen atom or a phenyl group, a 1-6C alkylsulfonyloxy group that may be substituted with a halogen atom, or a phenylsulfonyloxy group that may be substituted with a 1-10C alkyl group, a 1-10C haloalkyl group or a halogen atom).
