PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a picture which uses sand and other granules which can satisfy both visual sense distinction and tactile sensation distinction, and a picture which uses a granule. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a picture is characterized as follows. A granule of the same particle size is made a group, a granule group of the same group is paved on a support at a predetermined thickness partitioning a granule group of other groups. A granule group of a group is applied with a mixed liquid of a paint of a color corresponding to the group and a medium which is diluted with water and is dried, the granule group is adhered to the support, the gap of the surface between granules of the top surface of the granule group is made not to be filled, the boundary part of the granule group of an adjoining different group is made to form a valley part of a V-shaped cross section. The mixed liquid of the paint and the medium is applied to the top surface of the granule group so as not to fill the gap of the surface between the granules of the top surface, and is dried to carry out final painting.
