<p>A damper assembly (10) comprises a housing (11) which is mountable onto a cupboard carcase by means of an attachment device (13). A buffer (12) is mounted in the housing to provide a damped resistive force to a door of the cupboard on closing. The extent of the protrusion of the buffer out of the housing determines the magnitude of the resistive force applicable to the door and this is adjustable by means of a rotatable collar.</p>
