Provided is a method for preventing crosstalk from occurring without performing complicated adjustment calculations. A liquid crystal display device (10) is provided with an active matrix substrate having: a plurality of gate lines; a plurality of source lines; pixel electrodes which each have one of the colors from among the plurality of colors constituting an image; and a switching element. The liquid crystal display device (10) is also provided with an RGB restructuring unit (12) which divides a display region into regions containing a plurality of pixel electrodes, and which restructures the gradation value between the pixel electrodes of the same color contained in said region. The RGB restructuring unit (12): calculates the difference between the gradation value of a pixel electrode disposed between two adjacent source lines and connected to one of the two source lines, and the gradation value of a pixel electrode connected to the other of the two source lines; and restructures the gradation value so that the abovementioned difference is smaller than the difference before restructuring.
