摘要 <p>Disclosed is a first embodiment of a hydrogenation isomerization catalyst, which contains a carrier which is composed of a molded body that is fired by experiencing a thermal history including heating at a temperature not less than 350˚C, and at least one metal which is supported by the carrier and selected from a group consisting of metals belonging to groups 8-10 of the periodic table, molybdenum and tungsten. The carrier contains (a1) a fired zeolite which is obtained by having an ion-exchanged zeolite experience a thermal history including heating at a temperature not less than 350˚C, said ion-exchanged zeolite being obtained by ion-exchanging an organic template-containing zeolite that contains an organic template and has a 10-membered ring one-dimensional pore structure in a solution containing ammonium ions and/or protons, and (b1) a fired inorganic oxide which is obtained by having at least one inorganic oxide experience a thermal history including heating at a temperature not less than 350˚C, said at least one inorganic oxide being selected from a group consisting of alumina, silica, titania, boria, zirconia, magnesia, ceria, zinc oxide, phosphorus oxide and complex oxides each composed of a combination of two or more of the aforementioned oxides. The thermal history experienced by the fired zeolite includes firing of the ion-exchanged zeolite at a temperature within the range of 350-450˚C, said ion-exchanged zeolite not having been heated at a temperature of 350˚C or higher.</p>
