<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that an LED and a condensing lens such as a ball lens are closely mounted since it is necessary to collect light emitted from the LED to the ball lens in order to obtain a light source device with high intensity using the LED as a light source and sufficient intensity is not secured as the whole light of the LED cannot be collected to the ball lens if a dimension covering a chip-shaped LED of the ball lens is small. <P>SOLUTION: In the light source device, the semicircular ball lens having a size capable of collecting the whole light of the LED is closely mounted to the chip-shaped LED. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
