PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular handgrip for a railroad vehicle having a structure allowing for ease of quick grip in a sudden accident of the railroad vehicle or the like. SOLUTION: The vehicular handgrip allowing for ease of quick grip includes a grip portion 4 of the vehicular handgrip having an opening B of which an upper portion is widened. An expanded portion 5A is formed on an upper side of an upper surface of the grip portion 4. A user of the railroad vehicle can easily grip the grip portion 4 when urgently needed.
