PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner which can optimize a beam diameter for a plurality of beam wavelengths without being accompanied by cost increase. SOLUTION: The optical scanner including: a laser diode (light source) 20; a polygon mirror (deflector) 23 for deflecting a light beam L emitted from the laser diode 20; an aperture for extracting the light beam L in an optical path between the polygon mirror 23 and the laser diode 20; and a fθlens for imaging the light beam L deflected with the polygon mirror 23 on a scanned face at a uniform speed, removably forms a plurality of the apertures 29, 30 having an aperture diaphragm of size corresponding to wavelength of the light beam L emitted from the laser diode 20 in a housing.
