PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finish a back-bound sheet bundle to a comparatively exact booklet shape with a back part as a reference when cutting and uniformizing one side or three sides at a peripheral edge of the sheet bundle. SOLUTION: This sheet bundle cutting device cuts at least one direction of the top part, the bottom part and the end part of the sheet bundle except the bound back part. The sheet bundle cutting device includes a sheet bundle holding means 62 for holding the sheet bundle at a prescribed cutting position, a cutting means 70 arranged at the cutting position, and a control means 78 for controlling the sheet bundle holding means 62 and the cutting means 70. The sheet bundle holding means 62 is constituted to change an angle attitude of the sheet bundle in relation to a cutting line of the cutting means 70. The control means 78 includes a back part inclination amount detection means 66 for detecting inclination amount of an end face of the back part of the sheet bundle held by the sheet bundle holding means 62 by making the cutting line of the cutting means 70 as a reference. Based on the inclination amount detected by the back part inclination amount detection means 66, the angle attitude of the sheet bundle holding means 62 is changed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
