The present invention relates to a heater and to a hot water supply apparatus comprising the same. According to the present invention, an inlet and an outlet of a water container are arranged closely with each other to form a temperature stabilizing unit such that the cold water introduced into a flow channel of the water container via the inlet cools the hot water to be discharged via the outlet of the water container to an appropriate temperature level to prevent the hot water from being overheated to a level higher than the appropriate temperature level. Consequently, heating elements are preemptively prevented from being heated by the over-heated water in the water container, and further the temperatures of the heating elements are prevented from exceeding a limit temperature, thus preventing damage to the heating elements. |
