<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent double pressing when carrying out transition to another screen. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus A includes an image forming part 9, a display part 7a, a detecting part 15, a communication part 11 and a display control part 13. The display part 7a displays a display frame displaying a background screen and screen information displayed thereon. The detecting part 15 detects operation instructions to the screen information in the display frame. The communication part 11 transmits the detected operation instructions to the outside, and receives following screen information regarding the display frame to be displayed next based on the operation instructions. The display control part 13 performs lock control of the input of operation instructions from the display frame as a function provided at the background screen when the following screen information is requested.
