<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insert a fill-in pattern of an irregular meter by intuitive and simple operation during automatic accompaniment. <P>SOLUTION: In this automatic accompaniment device, automatic accompaniment pattern data in a prescribed meter including at least a main pattern Pm and a fill-in pattern Pf are prepared in a data storage part A, and the reproduction of the automatic accompaniment pattern data Pa can be controlled by the operation of a fill-in switch.
