<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swimming suit for swimming race, managing both figure correction and joint mobility as conflicting functions. <P>SOLUTION: This swimming suit for swimming race includes an area 2 covering the belly, an area 3 covering the hip, an area 4 covering the crotch, an area 5 covering the femoral region, and an area 6 covering the groin groove. A low stretch material is arranged on at least an area of the external thigh excluding the internal thigh among the area 2 covering the belly, the area 3 covering the hip, the area 4 covering the crotch, and the area 5 covering the femoral region, so as to apply wearing pressure to give figure correcting effect, and a high stretch material is arranged on the area 6 covering the groin groove so as to incline the femoral region ahead the femoral region major axis of a wearer in a sewn condition.
