<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traction control device preventing execution of undesirable traction control. <P>SOLUTION: The traction control device 18 includes an engine ECU 17 which calculates a monitoring value M varying according to a slip amount of a rear wheel 3, determines whether or not the monitoring value M meets a first driving force suppressing condition, and performs traction control for reducing the driving force of the rear wheel 3 based on the determination.
