PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prefabricated scaffold improved in assemblability to reduce cost for construction and also to provide a method of assembling the prefabricated scaffold. SOLUTION: This prefabricated scaffold 10 includes ridge direction frames 12, lower members 14, connection devices 16, connection members 18, and a ledger 20. A pair of floor plates 22 are laid down, parallel to each other, on a surface on which the prefabricated scaffold 10 is assembled, base members 24 are fixed to the upper surfaces of the floor plates 22, and the lower members 14 are vertically installed on the base members 24. The ridge direction frames 12 are assembled on the lower members 14 with the connection devices 16. Assemblies 84 each of which is formed by combining the lower members 14 with the ridge direction frames 12 are disposed in pairs to face each other in the span direction. In the ridge direction frames 12 disposed to face each other in the span direction, corresponding vertical members 26 are connected to each other through the connection members 18 in the span direction.
