PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersion composition having excellent dispersion stability of dispersed particles containing silymarin and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The dispersion composition includes silymarin, a collagen peptide having an average molecular weight of >500 and≤5,000 and an emulsifying agent. The method for producing a dispersion composition includes dissolving an oil-phase component containing the silymarin in a good solvent of the silymarin to prepare an oil phase and mixing the obtained oil phase with a poor solvent phase of silymarin. The method for producing a dispersion composition includes preparing an alkaline solution containing silymarin and a collagen peptide and acidifying the pH of the alkaline solution.
