A filtration assembly includes a sample reservoir for holding a sample to be filtered, a base, and a compressible member. The base is removably coupled to the sample reservoir such that a portion of the sample reservoir removably telescopes over at least a portion of the base. The base forms a filter platform for supporting a filter within a fluid path between the sample reservoir and the base. The compressible member is disposed between the sample reservoir and the base, and a portion of the sample reservoir compresses the compressible member to create a seal between the sample reservoir and the base. |
