<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device including small color irregularity and emitting light efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting device includes a light source unit 30 including a light-emitting element 10 emitting first-order light while being packaged on a packaging surface and a wavelength conversion member 20 for covering the light-emitting element 10 and emitting second-order light with a wavelength different from that of the first-order light, and a light-transmitting member 40 that covers the light source unit 30 and includes a light emission surface 41 for emitting the first-order light and the second-order light to the outside. A plurality of projections 45 are so provided on the light emission surface 41 as to project in a direction of a center axis. The center axis is inclined mutually through the light source unit 30.
