<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic device configured to be charged by use of solar energy. <P>SOLUTION: The exemplary portable electronic device includes a body, a circuit board mounted within the body, a display module housed within the body and electrically connected to the circuit board, and a solar energy conversion unit laminated and installed on the display module and electrically connected to the circuit board.
