PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter cloth for filter cloth traveling filter press maintaining flexibility and bendability at a seal lock for coating an adhesive at the lower edge of a filter cloth. SOLUTION: In a filter cloth traveling filter press where an adhesive is impregnated and coated to a filter cloth 2, the adhesive to be impregnated and coated at a lower edge 2b of the filter cloth 2 has a stripe structure 19 where a stripe-like part 18 without a filler 17 is formed. By shortening the width of the filler 17, flexibility and bendability of the lower edge 2b of the filter cloth 2 is increased, the filter cloth traveling load occurring when the lower edge 2b having the filler 17 applied passes a return roll 12 is decreased so that the load detection can be conducted stably. Even though the filter cloth 2 shrinks, the seal effect and bendability can be maintained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
