PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a touch sensor capable of achieving space-saving with a simple structure. SOLUTION: The touch sensor includes: a first electrode (electrode 21) and a second electrode (electrode 22), which are arranged so that an inter-electrode static capacity may be formed between them, a drive control part (control signal generation part 5) which drives a capacitive element Cstr and at least one electrode out of the first and second electrodes, and controls connection state between the second electrode and the capacitive element synchronized with the driving action of the first electrode, and a detection part (detection part 3 and touch determination part 4) which detects an external proximity object based on the changing manner of the voltage of the capacitive element.
