PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming an exterior wall, which shortens a construction period, which facilitates formation of a vent layer, which prevents cracking, and which has less variation in a finished state. SOLUTION: A ceramic siding material (an exterior wall material utilized as an industrial product and made of cement, ceramics and metal) is used as a substrate without use of mortar. A material with high elasticity, and a glass fiber net for covering the whole building are used for a finishing material. The ceramic siding material is attached to furring strips, undercoating is applied to the substrate, and the glass fiber net is put up.
