<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a planographic printing plate that has high developability and suppresses the generation of development scum with time, even if alkali developing solution of a relatively low pH is used. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the planographic printing plate includes in this order: an exposure process of image-exposing a positive planographic printing original plate including an image recording layer containing (A) alkali-soluble resin having urea bond and phenolic hydroxyl group in a side chain and (B) compound for absorbing light and generating heat; and a developing process of developing the image-exposed positive planographic printing original plate using a pH 8.5-10.8 aqueous alkali solution containing an anionic surfactant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
