<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a glass substrate where the production efficiency is enhanced and which has a uniform shape, raised glass strength and easy incorporation into a case. <P>SOLUTION: By subjecting a mother substrate 6 to a chemical strengthening treatment, a compression stress layer of 15 to 50μm in thickness is formed on the surface; after a desired processing tretament is carried out on at least one surface of the mother substrate 6, the mther substrate 6 is cut along imaginary lines 10 into individual glass substrates 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
