Identifying individuals ad-hoc by a user wearing specially designed glasses that include a hidden internal display screen that can be seen only by the user or wearer of the glasses that is wirelessly linked to a central database to determine via facial imaging techniques the identity of the person or persons standing in front of the user or wearer of the glasses. Information can be obtained from a social networking site which can include age, marital status, preferences, vices and habits, ethnic background, frequently viewed websites, personality traits, dating habits, color preferences, educational background, criminal history, family history, average annual income, religious beliefs, clubs memberships, associations, date of birth, and other such individual data. The information can be instantly provided to the user of the glasses, to help in identifying local people.
