The arrangement (1) has a holding member retracted and extended between a retracted /non-usage position and an extended usage position. The holding member provides a setting aperture for mounting a beverage container. The holding member co-acts with a surface (8) of a passenger seat (4) to hold the beverage container, where the seat surface serves as a bottom of a holder (2). The holding member comprises vertically aligned pivotal axis, and is designed as a rectangular flat component. A drive device comprises a spring element, which acts on the holding member.
