PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand a spam mail interruption function. SOLUTION: An electronic mail server with a spam mail interruption function includes a processing part configured to calculate the total of a plurality of prescribed elements of mail data included in the header and text of reception mail by performing the addition/subtraction scoring to/from the elements according to reliability, to inquire and notify electronic mail terminal equipment of a transmission destination of an inquiry as spam suspicious mail, when the calculated total of the addition/subtraction scoring is in a prescribed range between a spam decision threshold and a spam suspicious threshold, to transmit it as proper mail to the destination of the electronic mail terminal equipment and store the proper mail information in a storage part, when a reception permission response is made from the electronic mail terminal equipment, to abort it as spam mail and store the spam mail information in the storage part, when an abort response is made from the electronic mail terminal equipment, and to reflect the proper mail information and spam mail information stored in the storage part on the following addition/subtraction scoring.
