PURPOSE: A photographing device and an AF control device are provided to photograph an image in which a main subject is in focus in video photographing. CONSTITUTION: A driving unit(105) drives a focus lens(104). A multi-division focus detection unit performs the multi-division focus detection of a plurality of focus detection areas that at least partial area of a photographing screen is divided. According to a focus detection result, a control unit(110) drives the focus lens(110). The area of each focus detection area of video multi-division focus detection is greater than the area of each focus detection area of still image multi-division focus detection. |
