PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize temperatures of motors and inverters in a torque control of an electric vehicle having a plurality of the motors and inverters when the temperatures become nonuniform. SOLUTION: In a controller of the electric vehicle having at least two wheels individually driven by the electric motors, at least one of the temperatures of electric motor and a power semiconductor constituting the inverter for supplying power to the electric motor is detected, a generated torque of the electric motor responds to the temperature, and a torque instruction value to the motor or the inverter at a high temperature is relatively reduced below a torque instruction value to the motor or the inverter at a low temperature. Since a difference of a temperature rise between the motors or the inverters is reduced, a lifetime of an insulator is uniformized and an effect for preventing a temperature protector from easily operating is expected.
