METHOD FOR CHEMICAL RECYCLING POLYESTER AND THERMALBONDING FIBER INCLUDING THE POLYESTER

PURPOSE: A copolyester and thermal bonding fibers are provided to enable the production from wasted polyester and to ensure low energy consumption compared with fibers using polyester polymerized from pure raw materials. CONSTITUTION: A chemical recycling method for polyester comprises the steps of: adding diols consisting of ethylene glycol and 1,4-butanediol to wasted polyester using a depolymerization catalyst and depolymerizing the resultant to prepare an oligomer solution; purifying the oligomer solution; distilling ethylene glycol in the purified oligomer solution under 1-760 torr at 100-250°C; and adding dicarboxylic acids to the purified oligomer solution and polycondensing the solution to prepare polyester.
