PURPOSE: A collecting electrode on which patterns are formed and a solar cell employing the collecting electrode are provided to implement a recognizable pattern in a solar cell without interference to the efficiency of the solar cell. CONSTITUTION: In a collecting electrode on which patterns are formed and a solar cell employing the collecting electrode, a finger electrode is extended to a bus bar electrode. A part of the finger electrode is thicker than others, so that a specific character, a symbol, and figure are formed. The bus bar electrode includes a first bus bar and a second bus bar which are parallel with each other. The finger electrode includes a plurality of first finger electrodes(20) which are extended from a first bus bar electrode(10) and also includes a plurality of second finger electrodes(25) which are extended form the second bus bar.
