METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PREVENTING DENIAL OF SERVICE ATTACKS

PURPOSE: A DoS attack prevention method and system in a network system are provided to keep the stability of network. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of source computers transmits a packet toward a target server to an edge router(S220). The edge router performs the tapping of a received packet(S210). The detector of a detection/blockage device determines whether the source computer is an infected computer which causes a DoS attack with tapping information(S230). A CPU stores and manages the received IP address of the source computer(S250). The blockage unit of the detection/blockage device blocks the attack of the infected computer(S270).
