ELECTRICITY HEATING INSTALLATION FOR RAILROAD TURNOUT AND THIS ESTABLISHMENT METHOD

PURPOSE: An electric heating device for a railroad turnout and a method of installing the same are provided to prevent malfunction in track change due to freezing of rail or snow in a space between upper plate and rail of a crossing unit. CONSTITUTION: An electric heating device for a railroad turnout comprises an upper plate(100), a protecting plate(200), a heating plate(300) and a heating-plate assembly(400). The upper plate is formed in a square shape and comprises a groove. The protecting plate is arranged on the lower part of the upper plate, is fastened by a bolt, is formed in a square shape and comprises a cutting groove. The cutting groove is cut inwardly from both sides of the protecting plate to a given size. The heating plate is built between the upper plate and the protecting plate and is formed in a square shape. The assembly is arranged on the lower part of the heating plate and comprises resistant element(410) and a cable(420).
