Fire resistant wall and method for its manufacture

The wall has an external wall (01) and an inner wall (02) that is arranged opposite to the external wall such that a gap (03) is formed between the external wall and the inner wall. Elements made of lightweight aggregate materials are arranged in the gap. The aggregate material is selected from a group consisting of a blowing glass, expanded clay and pearlite, where the elements are firmly and respectively connected with the inner wall and the external wall by a hardened inorganic binding agent. The interior wall and the external wall are made of sheet metals. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a fire-resistant wall.
