PURPOSE: An electronic device having a message transceiving function, a system thereof, and an operation control method thereof are provided to offer a UI(User Interface) environment in order exchange a message among two or more electronic devices. CONSTITUTION: A first portable terminal(100) outputs a message which electronic devices(200~240) within a fixed distance from a home server(250) can receive. An instant message server(260) transfers the message outputted from the first portable terminal to the home server, and transfers a message reception confirmation signal outputted from the electronic device to the first portable terminal. The first portable terminal exchanges the message with the electronic device according to wireless Internet standards.
