A trim strip or sealing strip for attachment to a support flange on a vehicle comprises a rubber or plastic spine 1 carrying spaced U- shaped metal clips 2 and covered with woven fabric or plastic 6 to the side of which may be stitched a sealing flange. The clips are held to the spine 1 and to the support flange by tangs 4. Further tangs 7 may be provided to grip the covering 6 and also an inturned edge of the stitched-on sealing flange (Fig. 5 not shown). The covering material 6 may have a plastic foam lining and the assembled strip may include some 'dummy' clips of cheaper material. |
