APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR HEIGHT MEASUREMENT

PURPOSE: An altitude measuring device and method for a vertical take-off and landing craft are provided to measure the accurate altitude by reducing an error range even at a low altitude below 100m. CONSTITUTION: An altitude measuring device comprises a camera unit(20) and an operation unit. The camera unit is installed in a vertical take-off and landing craft and collects images of circular marks formed on the ground. The operation unit computes the altitude of the vertical take-off and landing craft from the images collected by the camera unit.
