PURPOSE: A foreign substance filter bottom nozzle of a nuclear reactor fuel assembly is provided to prevent the fuel assembly from being damaged, by filtering foreign substances before cooling agent leaves the bottom nozzle. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of long nuclear fuel rod(22) have extended axial direction length. At least one lower most grid(20) supports the fuel rod. The lower most grid has an empty space inside to flow a fluid cooling agent through the fuel rod. A plurality of guide thimbles(18) support the grid, and are prolonged to penetrate through the fuel rod. A foreign substance filter bottom nozzle(12) is arranged below the grid and below the bottom part of the fuel rod. The foreign substance filter bottom nozzle supports the guide thimble. |
