A filter for fluids (10) comprises a filtering chamber (1 ), a filtering cartridge (7) with an outer side surface (9) and an inner side surface (9') such that a fluid to be filtered (3), coming from an inlet port (2), passes through the filtering cartridge (7), enters through the side surface (9) and exits through the inner side face (9') as filtered fluid (5) and eventually reaches an outlet mouth (4). On the filtering cartridge (7) external scrapers (20) act to remove the residues (50) that are present on the outer side surface (9) of the filtering cartridge (7); the scrapers act in combination with a backwash flow, which is operated during the cleaning operations, by reversing the flow from the outlet mouth (4) towards a discharge mouth (4'). In particular, the scrapers (20) have an alternated movement that runs on all the outer surface (9) of the cartridge and comprise a plurality of resiliently flexible blades 21 that are dragged against the outer surface (9) in order to resiliently bend and develop a resilient force that increases the efficiency of removing the residues. |
