<p>A method of controlling the use of electronically distributed data comprising consumerable content by a data using device, the method comprising: the data using device receiving said data in an encrypted form from a data source, said encrypted data being usable by the device in dependence on a valid data usage right being located on the device; transferring a said valid data usage right to said data using device from another device; and decrypting the data on the data using device if said other device satisfies at least one proximity condition in relation to the data using device.</p> |
