PURPOSE: A circuit breaker is provided to improve durability by reducing contact pressure, by making an opening/closing part have plain contact with a bearing part of a frame. CONSTITUTION: A moving contactor(23) has movable contacts(22) at both ends. A fixed contact contacts with and is separated from the movable contacts. A crossbar(30) supports the movable contacts and is pivot-supported. A bottom link drives the crossbar. A lever(44) is geared with a latch of a removal apparatus. The lever is pivot-supported by the bearing part of the frame in trip. A top link is pivot-supported by the lever. The top link is combined to the bottom link through a spring pin. The top link constitutes a toggle link with the bottom link. A main spring has a following axis combined to the spring pin. A handle arm is combined to a driving axis of the main spring. The handle arm is pivot-supported by the frame fixed to a case of a circuit breaker. The lever includes a hinge axle part(44a). The hinge axle part has a circular arc part with a center angle above 180°.
