PURPOSE: A device for constructing the ceiling of a building is provided to enhance working efficiency since a board is coupled in a sliding manner and thus there is no disturbance from a channel installed on the top of a main T-bar. CONSTITUTION: A device for constructing the ceiling of a building comprises main T-bars(110), cross T-bars(120) and a fastening clip(130). The main T-bars are installed on the bottom of a fixing device at regular intervals. Flange units are formed on both sides of the bottom of the main T-bar and a protrusion is formed on both sides of the top of the main T-bar to be connected to the fixing device. The cross T-bars are placed perpendicularly to the top of the flange units formed on the bottom of the main T-bar to form a grid shape. Flange unit is formed on both sides of the bottom of the cross T-bar to hold a board.
