PURPOSE: A water pump for removing sediments is provided to lift off underwater sediments by jetting fluid through a plurality of bottom jet holes, draw in the sediments, and discharge the sediment to outside. CONSTITUTION: A water pump for removing sediments comprises a main body(10), a cable casing, a drive motor, an impeller(30), a plurality of blade parts(92), a discharge pipe(80), an inlet pipe(42), and a plurality of branch pipes(40). The main body has an inlet one side and an outlet on the other side. The cable casing is embedded with a power supply cable and installed on the top of the main body. The drive motor is driven with the power provided through the cable. The impeller is connected to the rotary shaft of the drive motor and installed in an impeller casing(32). The blade parts are fixed to the outer periphery of the rotary shaft located within the impeller casing and cut foreign materials into pieces. The discharge pipe has a bent portion and is installed in the outlet of the main body. The inlet pipe is installed by passing through the inside of the bent portion of the discharge pipe. The branch pipes are extended from the inlet pipe and located outside the discharge pipe, and the branch pipes comprise injection nozzles which are arranged to face down.
