<p>The method involves transferring data contained in an input data block (B), by row of sub-blocks, from a memory (MEM1) into another memory (MEM2), if the number of rows in each sub-block is greater than 1. The data in each sub-block is transferred, by column of sub-blocks, from the latter memory to a third memory (MEM3), if the number of columns in each sub-block is greater than 1, and the data contained in the input data block is transferred into an output stream, from the latter or third memories if the number of data columns in each sub-block is equal to or greater than 1, respectively. An independent claim is also included for a device for interleaving an input data stream distributed into data blocks.</p> |
