PURPOSE: A system and a method for processing video signal are provided to select a part or the entire of a content which is replayed on a display screen based on the desire of a user. CONSTITUTION: A video data buffer(3) stores an original video data which is obtained by performing the primary format conversion of a display external input video signal. A video signal processing module(2) performs a scaling process or an instant image and a video frequency process with respect to the original video data based on the selection of a user.
