<p>PURPOSE: A method and a system for configuring proximity indication reporting in a wireless communication system are provided to perform proximity indication reporting as a part of an inter-RAT handover process by utilizing one RRC connection reconfiguration message for a handover process and a proximity indication configuring process. CONSTITUTION: A first RAT(Radio Access Technology) system transmits a first message to a second RAT system(602). The second RAT system configures a RRC(Radio Resource Control) connection reconfiguration message(610). The second RAT system creates an inter-RAT handover command(612). The second RAT system transmits a second message to the first RAT system(614). A UE(User Equipment) receives the RRC connection reconfiguration message, performs inter-RAT handover using the contents of the message, and configures proximity indication reporting(618).</p> |
