PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for sterilizing a water purifier are provided to separate a storing bath from a water purifier main body and sterilize the water purifier. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for sterilizing a water purifier includes a storing bath(110), a water intaking hole(130), a first connecting pipe, a second connecting pipe, and a third connecting pipe. The storing bath stores water from a purified water discharging pipe and discharges the stored water through an outlet(112). The stored water is introduced from the storing bath through the water intaking hole. The first connecting pipe connects the purified water discharging pipe and an inserting hole for the outlet. The second connecting pipe connects a faucet and a pump. The third connecting pipe connects the discharging hole of the pump and the outlet. |
